Economics

Economics is the social science that studies how individuals, businesses, governments, and societies make choices about allocating scarce resources to fulfill their needs and desires. It examines the production, distribution, and consumption of goods and services, as well as the behaviors and interactions that influence these processes. Economics is generally divided into two main branches: microeconomics, which focuses on individual agents and their decisions, and macroeconomics, which looks at the economy as a whole, including issues such as inflation, unemployment, and economic growth. The discipline uses various models and theories to explain economic phenomena and to predict the effects of different policies and conditions on economic behavior.
