Radio

In computer science, „radio“ refers to a type of user interface element that allows users to select one option from a set of mutually exclusive options. It is commonly known as a „radio button.“ When a radio button is selected, any other button in the same group will automatically be deselected. This makes radio buttons ideal for scenarios where only one choice is allowed, such as selecting a gender, a payment method, or an option from a predefined list. Radio buttons visually distinguish selected and unselected states, typically represented as a small circular button that is filled in when selected. They are used in forms and graphical user interfaces (GUIs) to facilitate effective user input and decision-making.
